"Nuestra Navidad” Holiday Music Special on Univision |

For the first time ever, the Univision Television Network , Emilio Estefan Enterprises and Target have partnered to present a spectacular holiday music special, “Nuestra Navidad” (Our Christmas), which will be broadcast on the Univision Network, Friday, December 8, from 10 p.m. - 11 p.m. ET/PT (9 p.m. - 10 p.m. Central).
From a dazzling snow-filled set, “Nuestra Navidad” will feature an incredible array of the most popular holiday classics and current chart toppers performed in the distinctive styles of today’s biggest Latin recording artists. This collaboration brings together award-winning producer Emilio Estefan with Univision, America’s leading Spanish-language network, and presenting partner Target to deliver a powerful and joyous special to warm Hispanic homes this holiday season.
Galilea Montijo, popular Mexican novela star and TV host, will serve as emcee and will be joined by one of Univision Radio’s most beloved hosts Eddie “Piolín” Sotelo. The holiday musical extravaganza will feature an all-star line-up of performers including Mexican superstar recording artists Pepe Aguilar and Joan Sebastian; Akwid, the Urban regional duo who brought hip-hop to banda; singer and teen-novela star Belinda; popular salseros Victor Manuelle and the legendary Willie Colón; Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Hector El Father; Toby Love performing a unique fusion of R&B, hip-hop, and traditional Dominican bachata; international pop sensation Laura Pausini; and popular regional Mexican group Banda El Recodo.
Throughout the show, special appearances will be presented from some of today’s biggest Latin recording artists, including David Bisbal, Chayanne, Ricky Martin, Alejandro Sanz and Olga Tañón.

Platinum-selling rock band GOOD CHARLOTTE will release their “FAST FUTURE GENERATION” DVD rockumentary December 26 on Epic/Daylight. Blending behind-the-scenes and onstage footage of the band’s 12-day tour through Japan in 2005, the DVD paves the way for the early 2007 release of GOOD MORNING REVIVAL!, the band’s first album since 2004’s Chronicles Of Life And Death.
Marking the directorial debut of Nylon magazine’s editor-in-chief Marvin Scott Jarrett, the rockumentary captures GOOD CHARLOTTE--BENJI MADDEN (guitar), JOEL MADDEN (vocals), BILLY MARTIN (guitar/keyboard), PAUL THOMAS (bass) and the tour’s drummer Dean Butterworth--as they explore Japan ’s underworld, interacting with fans and exploring the culture. BENJI told MTV News (1/20/06), “We have a really unique relationship with Japan …we wanted people to see what we see in Japan ." Describing the film, MTV News noted “surreal footage of the brothers Madden looking like they'd stumbled into a real-life Gorillaz video." During an interview for the film’s January 19, 2006 premiere in Park City , Utah , Joel told Premiere magazine online (1/19/06), “At first I thought cameras around would be a pain in the ass. Marvin is really talented, and he brought it up three times. The third time, I completely got it. I said go for it. We talked about it as a band and we said, ‘We're going to give you free reign. Come on tour with us. Don't tell us about the editing.’” Joel revealed, “I talked about things like how, about two years ago, Pearl Jam had a DVD [2003's Live at the Garden] and talked shit about us on it. We didn't care. We were like, ‘Wow, Pearl Jam knows who we are.’ In the film, you see us talking about it in our production office. We weren't angry…We just want to make rock and roll that everyone can sing along to.” “I think the film really flows,” said Marvin to Premiere. “It's a great story. I brought five people over as a crew, and we hired a crew in Tokyo and Osaka for the concert footage that you see. Best of the Block CEO Littles and promoter Mook Diamond are bringing together some of the best up-and-coming east coast emcees together for the first time onstage at Club Avalon (formerly Limelight) for The First Annual Urban DVD Awards on Wednesday, December 6th and The New Big East Concert. Scheduled to perform are Saigon, Tru Life, Maino, Stack Bundles, Red Café, Jae Millz, Grafh, Littles, J-Hood and Uncle Murda. Yummy and R&B group Black Buddafly will also be joining the lineup. The First Annual Urban DVD Awards honors Urban DVD pioneers who have made a significant impact in categories which include: Best DVD Documentary, The Pusher Award (most consistently sold urban DVD), Hottest Street DVD, Most Consistent Artist On A DVD, Hottest Biker DVD, and Top DVD Street Magazine to name a few.
Immediately after the last award is distributed, HOT 97's Dee Vazquez, will take the center stage to kick-off the "The New Big East" concert.
