Night Kills The Day's "The Study Of Man"
Friday, 19 January 2007
NIGHT KILLS THE DAY are set to release their first full-length debut, the sonically dark and moody THE STUDY OF MAN… via NYC indie Score Records. Due out March 27, the album is filled with highlights like the anthemic first single “Dive”--hitting specialty radio in March--the electro-pop “Rainbows in N.Y.C.” and the danceable “Enjoy The Ride.”

The NYC group--LUKE BRIAN (vocals), TIMOTHY FALZONE (bass), IZZY LUGO (guitar) and ROGER BENTON (drums)--will launch a North American tour March 22 with like-minded rockers Electric Six and Test Your Reflex. The winter trek begins in Toronto and includes a stop at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC Saturday, March 24 and a CD release party in Los Angeles April 20 at the Key Club. Look for the band to announce SXSW shows soon.

The video for the group’s first single “Dive” was lensed by esteemed music video director Darren Doane (AFI, Funeral For A Friend) and has the added distinction of being his final video. Click on the link to watch: http://wmsod.talkpoint.com/scor001/NightKillsTheDay_500k.wmv.
