SNK PLAYMORE USA, announced today that METAL SLUG ANTHOLOGY for PSP system is shipping to retailers across North America.
METAL SLUG ANTHOLOGY celebrates the 10th anniversary of one of the greatest action arcade franchises of all time. Included in the complete collection are METAL SLUG, METAL SLUG 2, METAL SLUG X, METAL SLUG 3, METAL SLUG 4, METAL SLUG 5, and the latest entry in the series, METAL SLUG 6.
Steven Hopper of GameZone called METAL SLUG ANTHOLOGY “A fun, albeit no-frills, collection of one of the most beloved franchises in arcade gaming and a great value for hardcore fans of the series.”
“METAL SLUG ANTHOLOGY fans’ dreams are realized with this complete collection,” said Ben Herman, president of SNK PLAYMORE USA CORPORATION. “With the PSP system version now available and the PlayStation 2 system version coming soon, gamers will have two more ways to enjoy all the non-stop action they’ve come to expect from the METAL SLUG series.”
METAL SLUG ANTHOLOGY is also available for Wii, and the PlayStation 2 system version will be available in April 2007.
