Linebacker Louis Green signed a contract extension with the Denver Broncos.

Terms were not released.

The 27-year-old has spent the past four seasons with the Broncos and was set to become a restricted free agent on March 2.

He played in all 16 games last season, placing sixth on special teams with seven tackles, and getting credit for a forced fumble and a fumble recovery on coverage units.

During the 2005 season, Green ranked third on Denver with 10 special-teams tackles.

Green entered the NFL with Baltimore as a college free agent in 2002.
