Almost exactly a month ago, FUNimation Entertainment was the first company to offer anime series on iTunes. Our anime series have been very well received on iTunes and we are pleased to announce that on Tuesday, March 13, we will be adding two more anime series to those offered on iTunes.
Starting tomorrow, fans will be able to download episodes from Gunslinger Girl and Basilisk from iTunes, the world's most popular online music, TV and movie store. The first 10 episodes of each series will be available for immediate purchase and download at www.itunes.com. The remaining episodes in each series will be available on iTunes the day after they air on IFC and fans also have the option to order a season pass so new episodes are automatically made available for download.
Gunslinger Girl and Basilisk are two top shows from FUNimation that are currently airing on IFC Friday nights beginning at 11:00 p.m. ET.
