Bill Richardson guest on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart"

New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson will be a guest on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Wednesday, March 28 at 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Governor Richardson previously appeared as a guest on "The Daily Show" on during its coverage of the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston. The paperback version of his autobiography, Between Worlds: The Making of an American Life (Plume Books; Trade Paperback), was released on March 16.
Richardson was re-elected to a second term as Governor of New Mexico in 2006. Before becoming Governor, Richardson was a member of Congress for 15 years and also served as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and Secretary of Energy during the presidency of Bill Clinton. As Chairman of the Democratic Governor's Association, Richardson helped elect the first Democratic majority of governors since 1994 by raising more than $28 million for gubernatorial candidates. He was also Chair of the 2004 Democratic National Convention and has been nominated four times for the Nobel Peace Prize. Governor Richardson has established a presidential exploratory committee and will seek the 2008 Democratic nomination for President of the United States (www.richardsonforpresident.com).
