SoHood Statement: On the day, we interviewed Keith he wasn't really into it. He was a man of few words but I managed to get something out of him. Major props goes out to Ant at Def Jam Records for hooking us up with tha Interview good lookin out.

Keith Murray: Yeah yeah.
SoHood.com: Talk about your album.
Keith Murray: The album is called "He's Keith Murray" and it drops on April 1st.
Sohood.com: How eager were you to get back into the studio after doing your bid ?
Keith Murray: I was real eager to get back in the studio and get back to doing music.
SoHood.com: Did you write any material while doing your bid?
Keith Murray:Yeah Yeah, I wrote some.
SoHood.com: Did any of the material get used in your new album?
Keith Murray: Yeah, some of it.
SoHood.com: After doing time u then collaborated with LL Cool J and Ludacris on "Fatty Girl" from what I heard the beat kept changing?
Keith Murray: Yeah man, the beat kept changing and changing.
SoHood.com: When is Def Squad dropping an album?
Keith Murray: Def Squad? I mean, it's dropping in May.
SoHood.com: I'm going to drop some names, tell me the first thing that pops into your head? Russell Simmons: Phat Farm. Eric Sermon: Production. P.Diddy: Money. Suge Knight: Violence and intimation.
SoHood.com: In your opinion , who's the most influential rapper of all time?
Keith Murray: 2Pac.
SoHood.com: So you felt him on that level?
Keith Murray: Hell yeah!!
SoHood.com: Do you still have any animosity towards Prodigy of Mobb Deep?
Keith Murray: He's a liar (Prodigy). I punched him in his face, and then he's going to say that I punched him while a cop was there, he also said that he was going to shoot me, he's a liar.
SoHood.com: Any last thoughts you want to leave your fans with, who supported you since day one?
Keith Murray:Yeah, thanks for the support and everything, cop that album of mine "He's Keith Murray" dropping on April 1st.
