Sí TV’s Latino Laugh Festival, presented in association with Time Warner Cable of Southern California, hits Hollywood this June with a three-day, cutting edge showcase of the best in Latino comedy. For the first time in Los Angeles, this one-of-a-kind festival will feature more than twenty-five performances at eight prime venues along Hollywood Blvd between Vine St. and La Brea Ave. All proceeds of the 2007 Latino Laugh Festival will benefit First Star, a non-profit organization that works to improve change the U.S. child welfare system to increase the level of protection and support all children deserve.
A hallmark event for Sí TV, America’s which targets the millions of 18–34-year old Latinos who prefer their entertainment in English, the Latino Laugh Festival in previous years has served as a launching pad for many of the country’s top Latino comedians, including Carlos Mencia, Gabriel Iglesias and Joey Medina many of whom will be back to perform again this year.
Hosting this year's event will be George Lopez. The line up of comedians reads like a who's who of some of the top comedians in the U.S. Already confirmed are Cheech Marin, Paul Rodriguez, Debi Gutierrz, Joey Medina and Rick Najera's Latinolouges and Dan Guerrero's one man piece Gaytino
