Welterweight champion Miguel Cotto retained his WBA title in an 11th-round TKO over challenger Zab Judah at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. The 26-year-old Cotto remained undefeated (30-0-0, 25 KOs) as a professional. The native of Puerto Rico used his punching power against Judah (34-5-0), who dropped to one knee in the ninth round after taking a one-sided beating, then suffered two knockdowns in the 11th before the fight was stopped.
