SoHood.com: How's life treating you?
Murphy Lee: "It's great, as long as I got a job."
SoHood.com: What are your thoughts about the MTV's Video Music Awards?
Murphy Lee: "WOW! They [MTV] set it off again, it was tight."
SoHood.com: What was the highlight of the VMA'S for you?
Murphy Lee: ’"The Kiss."
SoHood.com: Who's featured production wise on your album?
Murphy Lee: "Jazzy Pha did a beat. Jermaine did two beats, and the rest our home team did the beats."
SoHood.com: At this point in your life, what can the Hip-Hop world expect from you?
Murphy Lee: "Rappin' Nah, I have a whole album not just a single but a whole album for the fans to see my art."
SoHood.com: What are your expectations about this album?
Murphy Lee: "It's going to be good, cause I put a lot of hard work into it. I waited a long time for the buzz. They [Universal Records] pushed it back, like it's going to do good, that's what's up."
SoHood.com: Would you be satified, if it only goes gold?
Murphy Lee: "I'm not thinking about that. I'm just happy to put out an album."
SoHood.com: What are the differences between you and Nelly?
Murphy Lee: "He's better. (laughs) He's more like a vet. (veteran) more closer towards than to me. He understands the game a whole lot more than me, so I learn from him everyday."
SoHood.com: How was it working with P.Diddy and Jermaine Dupri in the studio?
Murphy Lee: "Crazy, it was great! P.Diddy is a professional and Jermaine Dupri is too."

Murphy Lee:"We have another St.Lunatics album coming, Nelly remix album coming, movies coming. Nelly Entertainment: Ali is the President and Nelly is the Ceo and I'm the first artist out of it."
SoHood.com: Two years from now, as far as music, where do you see yourself doing?
Murphy Lee: "Still working and probably on my third album."
SoHood.com: Any last thoughts.
Murphy Lee:"Nah really man, just Murphy's Law in stores September 23."
