NBA 08Published by: Sony Computer Entertainment Developed by: SCE Studios San Diego Release Date: US: October 2, 2007
MSRP: $29.99
NBA Live 08 feels and looks very good for a basketball game on the PSP, the gameplay will feel very familiar for fans of the series. Animations are fine, the shot mechanics in the game is excellent, though it will take some practice to master. Players must time their release just right when shooting, if you release the ball to early or hold on too long, the ball will turn red, meaning a bad shot is made, green is a perfect shot, as doing so will trigger a cash register sound effect, while orange is a good shot that might go in. NBA 08's answer of not having a second analog stick at its disposal is the square button, which does mostly everything that has to do with fancy dribbles and jukes. Manhunt 2 is filled with shadows, and boy you’ll need them, cause hiding and waiting in them is exactly what the game is all about. You’ll have to avoid being seen by enemies, all while trying to pick them off one by one. The easiest way to do this is to hide in a dark corner and lure a foe over by throwing a brick or punching the wall. The noise will attract nearby hunters, who have a tendency to walk over and stare straight at you for a moment before shrugging their shoulders and then walking away.
