To people who tend to find Walt Disney to be cheesy, give this movie a chance. Amy Adams' acting is very commendable. Love her singing; love her naive yet sincere expressions. As a side note, I hope movies like Stardust and Enchanted, which dare to go back to that genuine romanticism, are produced more often as opposed to movies like Bratz or even Knocked Up, which tend to promote the current trend as being the popular one. Enchanted is not only appropriate for the young kids, but they can be refreshing for a working adult like me, accustomed to formalities and politics at work.
The only regret I have after seeing this movie is the fact that Idina Menzel never sang! After all this talk of "someone to finish the duet" you would have thought that she would get a chance to display her enormous talent. The original songs created for the movie have an air of authenticity given their composer, and all of the creative aspects of the film are top-notch.
