The film Cattle Call is directed and written by Martin Guigui and the verdict is in. I have to start by saying that this film wasn’t up to par with a lot of National Lampoon films from the past. I was disappointed with Cattle Call. When I heard Chelsea Handler was in this film, I was glad cause she’s funny but on this film, she wasn’t. I’ll continue watching Chelsea on her late night TV show on the E entertainment channel.

Andrew Katos ("Sherman Oaks," left), Diedrich Bader ("Glenn," center) and Thomas Ian Nicholas ("Richie Rey," right) star in Lionsgate Home Entertainment's National Lampoon Presents Cattle Call.

The premise of the film is about three guys trying to cast some girls for their film, which doesn’t really exist. But in reality they just were looking to get laid.  Some of the jokes weren’t funny at all and it’s a shame I thought this film had some potential with a better cast and writers, this film probably could’ve been a hit and overall it could’ve been a funny flick. I won’t say that this film is as bad as Gigli but it’s coming in close to second.
