Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness/Explorers of Time

Both Nintendo DS games, Explorers of Darkness and Explorers of Time, start out the same, you have to answer some questions about your personality and on how you’ll handle certain situation with others. Based on your answers you’ll end up as one of half of dozen Pokemon, yes you’ll be playing as a pokemon, I myself for some reason was picked for a skitty, a bright pink Pokemon. Then it’s a matter of choosing which Pokemon partner you’ll like to play alongside of you.
The Explorers of Darkness and Explorers of Time Gameplay is broken down into a combination of routine daily missions and story-based missions, With experience and items given to you after complete such missions. The Boss battles offer a huge variation from the day-to-day routine.
A majority of game is centered on working your way through a series of multiple leveled dungeons. Missions have a grade value to indicate the level of difficulty from easy, E, D, and C to hard, B, A. The harder levels have a larger amount of stronger Pokemons to battle, thus making that dungeon harder to complete. Lucky each floor is randomly generated, thus making a second pass around a little less boring.
Randomly generated dungeons, basically meaning that you’ll never see the same the dungeons layouts design when you visit it again. Sometimes the RGD slips up, and the stairs to the next floor are actually in mere steps from where you started on a particular floor.
In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, fainting in the dungeon doesn’t mean the end of the world as you’ll expect from the previous Pokemon game, instead you’ll only lose a small number of your items, and you wont lose your progression in the game, like experience points that your team has earned. This made me return to battle on a more difficult dungeon, cause the end result isn’t that great of a loss, it only items.
You could now call for help after fainting with ease, just log on to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and send a text message along with your rescue request, it could also be done with someone's e-mail address or mobile phone. I found this to be both fun and helpful.
The Good: A lot of hours of gameplay, over 450 different pokemons.
The Not So Good: A little repetitive .
Purchase, Rent Or Just play In A Friends House: I’ll suggest buy this title, Pokemon fans won’t be disappointed.
