The Film National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets, which is directed by Jon Turteltaub and the screenplay is written by married couple Marianne and Cormac Wibberley. I got the opportunity to review the collector’s edition for So Hood Magazine online. I will tell you that I really went into this film anticipating a lot of action and drama with a great storyline. And I definitely got what I wanted.
The premise revolves around when a missing page from the diary of John Wilkes Booth which surfaces; Ben Gates’ (Nicolas Cage) great-great grandfather Benjamin Franklin Gates is suddenly implicated as a key conspirator in Abraham Lincoln’s death. Determined to prove his ancestors innocence, Ben follows an international chain of clues that takes him on a chase from Paris to London and ultimately back to America. This journey leads Ben and his crew not only to surprising revelations but also to the trail of the world’s most treasured secrets.

The Ben Gates’ crew Troy (Diane Kruger) and Riley (Justin Bartha) help Ben on a wild adventure chase around the world to exonerate his great-great grandfather Benjamin Franklin Gates of any wrong doing in Abraham Lincoln’s Death. I won’t get into spoiling the film but I highly recommend the film for you and your family to watch.
The DVD extra features is ridiculous which include: Deleted Scenes, The Treasure Reel, Secrets of a Sequel, The Book of Secrets: On Location, Street Stunts: Creating the London Chase, Inside the Library of Congress, Underground Action, Cover Story: Crafting the Presidents’ Book, Evolution of a Golden City, and Easter Eggs etc.
