Thousands of comic fans got an exclusive early look at “Spiderman 3″ at San Diego’s Comic Con. Present at the convention were cast members Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Topher Grace, Bryce Dallas Howard and Thomas Haden Church, along with director Sam Raimi and producer Laura Ziskin.
“There will be some conclusions, though I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily the end,” said Maguire regarding the future of the series. “We’re going to leave it open-ended. If there are stories worth telling, then we’ll tell them.”
A teaser for the film, which offered a look at villains Sandman (Thomas Haden Church) and Venom (Topher Grace), aired at the convention. Sam Raimi confirmed that James Franco’s Harry Osborn will play a third villain in the movie; Bruce Campbell will also appear in the film. -Jacob Flores
