Nuggets trade ‘Melo to Knicks

According to msn.Foxsports.com The Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony was finally traded to the New York Knicks Monday, according to multiple reports late in the evening.

“It’s a done deal,” an NBA source told the New York Post. “The Knicks had to give up [Timofey] Mozgov to get it done.”

The mega deal, which ends a saga that has lasted months, sees Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari and Timofey Mozgov go to the Nuggets, while Denver also gets the Knicks’ 2014 first-round draft pick, the Warriors’ 2012 and 2013 second-round picks and $3 million, according to the report.

As well as obtaining the four-time All-Star Carmelo, the Knicks will get Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman.
