Overview: The spectacular documentary which debuted in IMAX theaters in 2000, features a rare glimpse of the legendary Jordan as he leads the Chicago Bulls to their sixth NBA Championship title.
Review: It’s been a while since I’ve watched any basketball since the greatest basketball player that eve lived stepped off the court. As soon as I got my review copy of the Michael Jordan to the Max, I inserted the disc into my Blu-Ray player and I relived some moments that brought back moments. I remember them well cause I lived out in Chicago before moving out here in New York. I went to several playoff games during the Bulls Championship runs.
The narration is done by Laurence Fishburne. The documentary runs a little under an hour. It features some awesome footage in High Definition. You get to see Michael discuss some of his high and low points in his career. There’s some exclusive footage of Phil Jackson during shoot around practice of him taking shots with the team. As we all know Phil Jackson never allowed any press to film during his closed out team practices. We get to hear people who knew Michael from his High School and College years.
There’s not much new information that a lot of Jordan fans don’t already know that was said in this documentary but it was shot beautifully and well done.

The Good: A honest behind the scenes look into the greatest basketball player that ever lived Michael Jordan
The Bad: Key voices from the Bulls team are conspicuously absent, including Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and Ron Harper.
Stand out Quote from the film:
“I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed” - Michael Jordan
