Overview: iHome’s SD63 Soundesign Stereophoinc Hi-Fi Headphones. From the original innovators of audio electronics, SDI is proud to introduce its new Soundesign retro headphones. In the 1970 and 80s, Soundesign was a leading pioneer in stereo systems, boomboxes, clock radios and headphones, and we’ve never stopped innovating. Our forerunner brand, iHome, introduced the world’s first iPod clock radio and continues to be a leader in iPod/iPhone/iPad electronics. Capitalizing on iHome’s present day innovation and Soundesign’s historic brand, we’re proud to relaunch the SD63 headphones that feature extra plush ear cushions and headband, coiled cord, volume control and pivoting earcups, all complemented by stylish chrome accents and design details.

Here’s some of the Main Features for the iHome’s SD63 Soundesign Stereophoinc Hi-Fi Headphones:

-Delivers detailed, rich hi-fidelity sound
-Plush, air-cushioned ear pads provide added comfort
-Padded and adjustable headband for custom fit
-Retro design with classic accents and materials
-Rotary volume control on earcup housing for added convenience
-Earcups swivel for single-sided or freestyle monitoring
-Works with all music players, includes 6.3mm stereo plug adaptor

Performance: If you looking for some nice retro headphones, then try the latest iHome’s SD63 Soundesign Headphones. Ever since I got them, I’ve use them to listen to my music and videos on my MacBook Pro. For one, they’re very comfortable on your ears, which helps because it has some soft air-cushioned ear pads for long extended play use.

As far as the sound quality for these headphones they’re solid, especially given that the price is so affordable. So don’t let the images of his retro stylish headphones fool you, they’re worth the price. I especially liked the volume control idea that iHome came up with these headphones, you can turn the volume, up or down on your right earphone, without even touching any of your idevices: the iPad, the iPod, or the iPhone volume controls, all by just using your right hand, on your right earphone knob, and you’re done.

Price Value: iHome’s SD63 Soundesign Stereophoinc Hi-Fi Headphones are currently available for Pre-order at the official website iHomeAudio.com for $49.99.

Packaging: After unboxing the iHome’s SD63 Soundesign Stereophoinc Hi-Fi Headphones, it came with a manual, and if you are using this headphone with an older stereo receiver that a larger size headphone jack, you can use the supplied 6.3mm headphone plug adapter by attaching it to the 3.5mm plug from your headphones.

Pros: The audio sounds are up to par with any headphones on the market today especially given that the price for these headphones are very affordable.

Cons: None that I experienced while testing these headphones.

  • Abob

They do work wonderfully, but after a while if you hold the cord at a weird angle, the music can get fuzzy and anoying.
