The dark knight finally comes to Lego Land, as Gotham City comes to life in Lego blocks. Since most of the cut-scenes center around the characters that don’t speak but rather mime their actions, it can at times be difficult to catch what is going on. Though the game before a mission you’ll get some text words, on character names and background.
Lego Batman is filled with all the DC villains you’ve come to know over the years, and as well as the lesser ones that you’ve never heard about. As the game is broken down into three chapters, The Joker, Penguin and The Riddler, have to be stopped and the rest of the villains are there to lead support to them and make your job harder. Catwoman, Two Face, Clay Face, Bane, Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze and more are present in the game.
The Bat Cave is where stuff happens, where you’ll get the options to choose your next mission. Many levels switch up, as you get to control vehicles, such as the Bat wing, Bat mobile and Bat Boat.

The fighting system is pretty good, compared to the rest of Lego games that have come around over the years, as now you could grab and throw your foes. Climb on to higher ledges with the grapple and aim and throw the boomerang. The villains, all have some sort of a special ability that they bring to the table when you play as them.
Batman Lego has over 25 missions, where you’ll able to play as Batman or any of the villains in the game, giving you a new experience of beating the game with your favorite villain. It’s much bigger then the Lego Indiana Jones game or the Lego Star Wars.
The only real big problem is the lack of online play; I mean c’mon, why was this feature not present, it’s just so common now, for 360 games to have at least some sort of online capability.
Overall, Lego Batman is by far the best Lego game out right now, and the best out to date, it’s more polished, and it features a better fighting system, and it’s overall, more funnier then the rest.
