Alex comes back to his hometown, as the game title suggests, as the town he once knew, looks and feels different then what he remembered. Make no doubt about it; Silent hill is still filled with dark mystery and enough weird monsters to keep Silent Hill fans happy.

A large amount of your time is centered on doing some detective work and exploration, for the most part collecting clues and items.

Everything you collect seems to be pointed out to you on your next objective, as the map writes down important details. The two most important items that you carry are the Radio and Flashlight. The radio starts to make noise as an enemy is nearby as the Flashlight only lights up a small amount of area in front of you.

One major change is that the main character has military training, thus making fighting those weird monsters a lot smoother and easier.

Good loading time, great music, as one would expect in a horror game, the graphics at times seems next generation console while at other times seem not so good.
