The storyline isn’t half bad, it revolves around the mother and father of Croft, as it features a lot of flashbacks sequences and a nice narrative story that ties it all together. The voice acting among enemies throughout the game is well done.

I have to give it to the Tomb Raider Underworld, it could easily have gone over board, and added so many things and features, basically anything that‘s hot in the gaming world, but it didn’t, it stayed true to its fanbase and the Tomb Raider series.

The paths are straight forward, though you sometimes have to retread your tacks. The environments seem larger then previous game. Thus more area to explore, jumping, climbing, swimming, you name it.

The combat system has been updated a bit, the shooting seems a bit smoother now, and firing at multiple enemies is now a lot easier. You also have a slow motion feature that enables you to aim at a target in the air, pinpointing the exact spot you want to shoot them.

The camera is still an issue though, sad cause it’s really something that frustrates you, when you’re fighting not with an enemy but with the camera.
