Manny and his boisterous tools are not only dedicated to fixing things right, but also to conserving and preserving the Earth’s valuable resources. In Handy Manny Manny’s Green Team, the team works together to save baby turtles, restore cool air for the science fair and discover how reflecting light off mirrors helps get a job done.
Unlike all the other kids cartoon shows that have Spanish and English included in the show, this one is easy to follow. My son and daughter both love this cartoon show and are excited whenever they hear the theme song. But why do I like this show? Because it displays some very good values without being preachy. Teamwork, honesty, integrity, and work ethic (not to mention a little Spanish).
Not to be all social-political, but it also shows how to respect people of all social and economic classes. It’s a very well written show for a young children’s show, and I don’t mean deep character development or anything like that. More like the pacing of the show is smooth with very few hiccups to move the simple story along.
With a never before seen episode and all new interactive game, Manny’s Green Team is the environmentally friendly DVD the entire family will enjoy. Bonus features include Never Before Seen Episode Saving The Turtles, Fun Family Green Tips.
