Overall Impression: On Busta Rhymes latest effort album titled Back on My B.S. I got to admit that the tracks aren’t that impressive. I’m a big fan of Busta I felt disappointed but his lyrics are always on point. Besides my favorite track titled Don’t Believe Them featuring T.I. and Akon, I can’t really tell you that I loved this album.
In my opinion, production wise some of the beats on this album just weren’t poppin’ and that’s even with some of the biggest names in the music industry from Dr. Dre, Timbaland, to the Neptunes. Perhaps certain beats didn’t fit Busta’s whole style or there wasn’t no chemistry with those producers. Overall, it’s a good album but not Busta’s best, which I’ve heard better by him.
