Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is a sweet and charming New York City girl who has a tiny, little problem that is rapidly turning into a big problem: she’s hopelessly addicted to shopping and drowning in a sea of debt. While Rebecca has dreams of working for a top fashion magazine, she can’t quite get her foot in the door — that is, until she snags a job as an advice columnist for a new financial magazine published by the same company. Overnight, her column becomes hugely popular, turning her into an overnight celebrity, but when her compulsive shopping and growing debt issues threaten to destroy her love life and derail her career, she struggles to keep it all from spiraling out of control–and is ultimately forced to reevaluate what’s really important in life.

The main character Rebecca Bloomwood is trying to become a journalist in a top shopping magazine. She is also addicted to clothes, and will buy everything and anything she sees, especially designer stuff. However, the magazine she currently works in goes bankrupt, and Rebecca doesn’t have a job.

Then, she gets a credit card bill of $900, and that’s only from one of her 12 cards. After that she desperately gets a job in another magazine that is under the same company as the fashion magazine she likes. From there, Rebecca falls in love, lies, goes bankrupt, you’ll have to watch the movie to know the rest .

This is a complete chick flick, and no male would come in, ever. That said, it’s a wonderful movie, with everyone crying with sadness in the middle, and happiness in the end. It’s also not really a family movie, because of a few scenes when she’s completely drunk, and more because of some questionable connotations and movements.

Bloopers (Bonus)

The specific aspects of the Blu-ray:

The Confessions of a Shopaholic Blu-ray Disc allows movie fans to enjoy the film in high definition format, delivering far more crisply detailed images than standard DVDs. The sounds of Confessions of a Shopaholic Blu-Ray Disc is extraordinary.

The Audio and visuals of Confessions of a Shopaholic are really incredible. It sounded perfect as well as the picture looked amazing on my 1080P 46 inch screen TV .
