Lost Season 1 Blu-Ray Review

The first season of Lost contains 25 episodes which cover the surviving passengers of Oceanic Flight 815. The first two Pilot episodes debuted in 2004, it mostly covered three characters Jack Shephard (Matthew Fox), Kate Austen (Evangeline Lilly) and Charlie Pace (Dominic Monaghan) which the viewer gets to see flashbacks of certain events that happened to each of them.

Jack whose a doctor and wakes up from his sleep in the forest and hears screams coming near the shore line, he then finds tries to help the passengers from flight 815. Jack and Kate form a bond and both decide to find the flight’s transceiver. Charlie who plays bass in the band called Driveshaft offers to join them. They find the pilot of the airplane alive, then they try to get the transceiver to work but to no avail.  But things on this Island is out of the ordinary the tree branches move. Out of nowhere, a monster or some sort of strange life form then kills the pilot who is found hanging from a tree branch.

From there on, it’s like a soap opera, at times I was at the edge of my sofa trying to anticipate for something crazy to happen. What makes Lost such an entertaining TV series (one of the few great ones on TV) is the writing on this show, you don’t know what’s going to happen next. We “the viewer”  are taken to flashbacks at certain points of some the episodes before the airplane crashed giving us a better clear understanding of the characters.

As far as the extra features from this box set of Lost Season 1, it’s simply remarkable, the insights and commentary from the cast and creators was interesting to get a better understanding on what went through their minds while filming in the conditions that were in.

The specific aspects of the Blu-ray:

The Lost Season 1 Blu-ray Disc allows movie fans to enjoy the film in high definition format, delivering far more crisply detailed images than standard DVDs. The sounds of Lost Season 1 Blu-Ray Disc is extraordinary.

The Audio and visuals of Lost Season 1 are really incredible. It sounded perfect as well as the picture looked amazing on my 1080P 46 inch screen TV. There’s not much to complain about.
