The psychological terror continues in this sequel to the visually stunning horror of 2000’s THE CELL.  Filling in the shoes of Jennifer Lopez is Tessie Santiago, who plays psychic investigator Maya Casteneda.  After she escapes from the clutches of the serial killer known only as the Cusp, the FBI retains her for a possibly fatal assignment: to enter the criminal’s brain in order to put his killing spree to an end. And it’s a scary, twisted place in there…Can she make it out alive?

The Good: The Cell 2 starts off with a serial killer named The Cusp in an abandon Mill warehouse.A squad team is lead to the crime scene at the Mill but the killer was tipped by Maya’s mind reader that they were there eventually the killer murders the young woman named Sarah Miller. Detective Harris’ niece gets kidnapped by The Cusp and Maya helps find her. But an FBI agent on the case believes that Harris is the killer, the thing is what he doesn’t know is Cusp planted evidence to set Harris up. Both Maya and Harris team up to try to capture Cusp and save Harris’ niece. As they find clues they eventually figure out who Cusp is. I’m not going to spoil the film for you guys.

The Bad: Not much to really say bad about this film other that it definitely wasn’t better than the first one, but I think that the script was average and the acting was okay. This film kept me interested all the way till the end.

Overall, not many movie sequels work but The Cell 2 had an interesting serial killer, which pretty much saved it from being a disaster.
