Raptors’ Chris Bosh to Rockets?. Once the Toronto Raptors figure out that Chris Bosh will be departing via free agency a year from now, they may be inclined to trade him this summer. Their choice is to trade him to the Rockets now and get something in return, or wait until he signs with the Rockets a year from now and get nothing. If they decide to deal him, Rockets general manager Daryl Morey almost certainly would like to be at the front of the line. Sixers could sign-and-trade Andre Miller. A sign-and-trade involving Andre Miller would be a prearranged deal involving two or more teams in which the Sixers sign, then immediately trade Miller for a player – or players – whose contract matches. GM Ed Stefanski said a sign-and-trade was “a possibility.” This could benefit Miller because the Sixers can sign him for more money. Ricky Rubio of Spain is unsure about where he’ll end up playing. Ricky Rubio seems as confused about where he’ll be playing next season as the team that drafted him last week, the Minnesota Timberwolves. “I have more uncertainty about my future now than before the draft; every minute I’m in a different place,” the flashy point guard from Spain told the El Periodico newspaper of Barcelona in Monday’s edition. Rubio, 18, and his father were to quietly fly to Minneapolis last Saturday for conversations with Wolves president of basketball operations David Kahn. “It’s like being in a bag and not knowing what is going up or down,” Rubio said. “For now, I think I may return to the ACB, but we’ll see.” The ACB is the Liga Asociacion de Clubs de Baloncesto, which is the Spanish Basketball League. Rubio also said of being the No. 5 pick in the draft, “to be number five in the draft is unbelievable. I’m very happy!” — Pioneer Press
