When legendary treasures from around the world are stolen, including the priceless Pink Panther Diamond, Chief Inspector Dreyfus is forced to assign Inspector Clouseau to a team of international detectives and experts charged with catching the thief and retrieving the stolen artifacts.
Steve Martin is hilarious the second time around as Inspector Jacque Clouseau, and he leads an all star cast literally ranging from Andy Garcia to Alfred Molina to Jeremy Irons. It was a sheer delight alone to know that all of these stars agreed to have anything to do with this project. The plot is simple and not much to tell, and the payoffs can seem a little recognizable at times, but getting to the end is only half the fun as you see the star studded cast have it out with their persona and characters.
The scenery is amazing. By far my favorite scene from Pink Panther 2 was the picture above where he tries to joggle all the wine bottles from falling onto the floor. Steve Martin delivers funny lines, moments of brilliance, and visual comedy on par. Steve Martin really had me laughing all through the film. Although the script isn’t strong like the previous one, it was still entertaining enough to keep me interested. The Pink Panther 2 is heart warming fare. The movie is wonderful for the whole family and completely harmless. The choice to see it is up to you.
The bonus features on the Blu-Ray contains 27 Classic Pink Panther cartoons-nearly 3 hours of it. I watched it with my nephews and they loved it. So it was great to introduce the cartoons to them, which they really weren’t aware of the cartoon until I popped it into the Blu-Ray console.
The specific aspects of the Blu-ray:
The Pink Panther 2 Blu-ray Disc allows movie fans to enjoy the film in high definition format, delivering far more crisply detailed images than standard DVDs. The sounds of Pink Panther Blu-Ray Disc is extraordinary.
The Audio and visuals of The Pink Panther it definitely was pure amazement to watch it on Blu-Ray cause everything about the disc was on point. It felt like a theater at my home especially since I have surround sound speakers and a large 56 inch Samsung flat screen TV. LOL
