At home hardened police detective Aidan Breslin (Dennis Quaid) has grown increasingly distant from his two young sons since the death of his wife. At work, he finds himself thrust into an investigation of perverse serial killings rooted in the Biblical prophecy of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: The White Horsemen, a master of deception and the unexpected leader hell-bent on conquest; The Red Horsemen, a sharp-witted warrior intent on turning man against man, with an innocence that hides a burning rage within; The Black Horsemen, a manipulative and dark tyrant, unbalanced but always one step ahead; and The Pale Horsemen, an executioner with disarming strength, determined to spread death through surgical precision. As Breslin grapples with each new revelation in the case, he slowly discovers a shocking connection between himself and the four suspects.

The storyline for this film titled The Horsemen is much more than a cat and mouse game in other words cop and serial killer film it’s different because we get a surprise ending. We begin the film with a widowed Detective Aidan Breslin showing up to a crime scene which he finds a dead body with out teethes found at the scene. After another murder takes place where Kristen (Ziyi Zhang) murders a woman and takes out her fetus. She and Detective Aidan Breslin have interesting meetings behind bars in which Kristen is giving him hints to who is all behind the murders. His two sons Alex (Lou Taylor Pucci) and Sean (Liam James) love their dad but they don’t spend much time with him especially after their mom died from cancer.
Nevertheless, Aidan has all the clues right under his nose but without giving much away i’ll say that parents should really pay more attention to their kids. Overall, I loved the way it was directed and the script was flawless. It’s a must see film.
