NFL News: Michael Vick, Pacman, Boldin

Michael Vick could turn to UFL’s $1 million offer?. An associate said Michael Vick isn’t enamored with playing for Orlando in the United Football League, but a $1 million offer would be tempting if he’s suspended by the NFL or if no NFL team bids. And no, the Dolphins haven’t inquired about Vick. (Dennis Green predicted Vick could sign with Miami, but the Dolphins have Pat White for that role.) – Miami Herald

Cards weeks away from Anquan Boldin contract extension talks. The Cardinals are at least several weeks away from having substantive talks with the agent for receiver Anquan Boldin about a contract extension, General Manager Rod Graves said. Graves declined to discuss specifics, but it’s known he and Tom Condon, Boldin’s new agent, had preliminary talks this spring. Graves traditionally has refrained from negotiating contract extensions until the regular season is well under way. By doing that, he can see the makeup of the final roster and take care of personnel moves necessitated by injuries. – Arizona Republic

Pacman still looking for new NFL team. NFL training camps will be opening soon, and the Nashville-based agent for former Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones remains hopeful that soon his phone will ring with an invitation from some team for Jones to attend camp. Worrick Robinson, who represents the troubled Jones, said he has been in contact with a few teams that mostly want to wait and see whether or not to bring the former first-round pick in for a look. He said it could even be after camps open around the league. – Nashville City Paper
