When a crime brings them back to L.A., fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto reignites his feud with agent Brian O’Conner. But as they are forced to confront a shared enemy, Dom and Brian must give in to an uncertain new trust if they hope to outmaneuver him. And from convoy heists to precision tunnel crawls across international lines, two men will find the best way to get revenge: push the limits of what’s possible behind the wheel. It has been a long time since I’ve watched the original, but I knew what was going on and who everyone was. 5 years after the original, Dom and Brian are back together racing, and getting revenge! They are both looking for a man named Braga, a drug lord who recruits street racers to move heroin across the US-Mexican border.

Dom and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) have been chilling in the Dominican Republic pulling the same hijack hi-jinks. Dom then quits but Letty didn’t. Suddenly he gets a call that she has passed away. Dom then travels to the U.S. trying to find who killed her. Dom then has to deal with Brian who is now back with the FBI but both chasing for the Letty’s killer. At times I felt the film was slowing down half way but eventually picked up towards the end. I’m not going to give away too much. I’ll say that it was entertaining. As for the extra features on this single DVD disc, it only brought the gag reel but overall it was very funny.
I loved The Fast and The Furious and the original cast of Vin Diesel as Dom, Paul Walker as Brian, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, and Jordana Brewster as Mia was worth it. These two movies were better then the other two movies in the franchise. Paul Walker was so much hotter in this movie then The Fast and The Furious. It was nice when Brian and Mia rediscovered their feelings for each other. It’s still not quite up to the mark of the first movie, falling a little shy of being on par but it does well enough to hit high enough making it better than the other sequels.
A short film Los Bandoleros featured in the 2-Disc DVD release of Fast & Furious which runs around 18 minutes and has some Spanish dialog, tells the story of the cast characters from Fast & Furious Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tego Calderon, Don Omar and Sung Kang. The story gives us ‘the viewers’ a more in depth insight before the events in the film where the intro scene of the explosive oil truck heist in Fast & Furious. I personally liked it and it was neat that they added it into the 2-Disc Special Edition of Fast & Furious.
