Bring it On: Fight to the Finish – Best Dance Sequences in Film

With the upcoming release of the mega-hit movie franchise, BRING IT ON: FIGHT TO THE FINISH, which will be available on DVD and Blu-ray September 1st . The film showcases daring athletics, fierce competition and hot young stars, including Grammy-nominated recording star and actress Christina Milian!

You can’t help but to look back at all the past dance sequences in films.  My favorite dance sequence is on the 2006 release of Bring it On: All or Nothing, which featured R & B singer /actress Solange Knowles and actress Francia Raisa in the lunch room cafeteria where both girls show off their dance skills to actress Hayden Panettiere on top of a lunch room table.

Dance films are just made for dance offs. The best dance sequences seem to come during a dance off. If you’ve seen the film You got Served, which features Marques Houston and Omarion, they call out their opponents in a dance off battle for the most part through out the entire film. I can recall even South Park had a funny episode mocking the two brothers Marques and Omarion and Lil Kim.  It’s no wonder why dance flicks are so entertaining because not too long ago, you had the film titled Dance Flick by the Waynes brothers, which poked fun for the most part at all the dance flicks.

But dance movies can be box office hits and potentially a way for young dancers to find new moves for their routines.  From past releases from the Bring it On franchise to Step Up and Save the Last Dance, dance movies have seem to taken on a whole new life-form. -Mario Diaz, So Hood Magazine SoHood.com
