The Mega Brands’ Halo Wars line Megabloks construction play set which were: UNSC Hornet which includes 4 miniature action figures, 1 UNSC Spartan, 3 Covenant Grunts and the set includes 159 pieces. The Halo Wars UNSC Warthog which includes 2 UNSC Spartans, 1 Covenant Elite and 1 Covenant Battle Turret, the set includes 173 pieces.

By the way, The Warthog is the all-purpose 4×4: It has active suspension and a M41 Light Anti-Aircraf Gun. Also two others The Covenant Ghost set which is comes equipped with twin Plasma Cannons and it’s powered by a Boosted Gravity Propulsion Drive, includes 4 miniature action figures  1 Covenant Elite and 3 Covenant Grunts with weapons. the set includes 72 pieces. The UNSC Turret, is equipped with four cannons can rotate 360° and has a swivel base. It includes 3 miniature action figures  3 UNSC Spartans all equipped  with weapons. It’s powered by a Boosted Gravity Propulsion Drive and the set includes 54 pieces.

The Halo Wars from Megabloks are very colorful, durable, easy to assemble and above all fun and sturdy. The fun is actually putting things together, as the instructional handbook makes it easy to assemble each set with detailed pictures showing which piece goes were.

It’s nice to see all the details that was put into each set, as the miniature action figures included in the sets as the Spartans, with the gold shades in the helmet really give it an authentic look as well as the Covenant Grunts twin Plasma Cannons. The miniature action figures are very poseable,  as it has a nice range of motion, bendable legs, knees and arms. Even though they are small in size, you’ll notice they’re exactly like what you saw in Halo Wars video game.

Overall, If you’re a fan of the hugely successful Halo Video game on the Xbox, then you should pick up these collector’s series from Megabloks for the Halo Wars construction play set for you or your kids. It really, took me back when I use to play with legos as a kid.
