Overview: Joel is one step away from selling his flavor extract factory and retiring to easy street when a freak workplace accident sets in motion a series of disasters that put his business and personal life in jeopardy.

Joel (Jason Bateman) and Suzie (Kristen Wiig) they are a married couple who hasn’t had much of a sex life. Joel tries to get his wife to have sex but she isn’t having it. Joel created his flavor extract factory company. Enter Cindy (Mila Kunis) a drifter in other words a con-artist who is well aware that men have no chance around her. From her opening scene we don’t ever doubt what she is. Cindy sees an opportunity to strike it rich due to a freak accident that leaves one of Extract’s key employees Step at Joel’s flavored extract company – in a position to sue Extract and make himself and his new ‘girlfriend’ Cindy – rich. This of course could bankrupt the company and adds even more stress to Joel’s already shaky marriage. When Cindy comes to work for Extract, Joel decides that since he isn’t ‘getting any’ at home – he can hire someone like ‘Brad’ to seduce Suzie and that will relieve him of any guilt he would have for having an affair with Cindy.

We’re not sure who is at fault in any of this – and that adds to the fun. We can’t really dislike anyone. Brad is just a young stud who is dumb as a doorknob. Joel’s friend Dean (riotously played by Ben Affleck) is full of bad advice – and always ready to supply Joel with a quick ‘drug of the day’ fix for any problem. Joel doesn’t handle drugs well – leading to more fun.

Joel and Cindy’s neighbor Nathan (David Koechner) is the annoying next door pest we all know – and the work crew at Extract, especially Mary (Beth Grant) are likeably incompetent. Add Gene Simmons as the ambulance chasing lawyer hired by Step – and all the pieces come together for lots of laughs.

The specific aspects of the Blu-ray:
The Extract Blu-ray Disc allows movie fans to enjoy the film in high definition format, delivering far more crisply detailed images than standard DVDs. The sounds of  The Extract Blu-Ray Disc is extraordinary.

The Audio and visuals of The Extract: The audio sounded excellent. The visuals looked amazing on screen. Blu-Ray Extras: In the deleted and extended scenes they are mostly with Joel (Jason Bateman) and Joel’s friend Dean played by Ben Affleck doing a lot of talking which leads to nowhere. I knind of wonder why they deleted Ben’s scenes. But Mike Judge did a good job of editing the film.
