There is, quite simply, a rather refreshing ordinariness to Remember Me in the unflashy, knuckle-down attention it gives to character development and the building of plausible and involving family and friend dynamics.-Austin Chronicle
For those looking for the rare romantic youth drama without vampyric overtones or other gimmicks, Remember Me should satisfy and it works as a much-needed change of pace for the talented Pattinson who remains one of the most watchable of our young stars. -Boxoffice Magazine
The Mixed and less favorable reviews in the media.
It’s hard to know what the director Allen Coulter could have done to improve Will Fetters’s absurdly contrived, yakky script about love and loss, largely set in the summer of 2001. But Mr. Coulter doesn’t help matters by infusing the movie with grave self-importance. -The New York Times
There’s an insult-to-injury quality to a plain bad movie with a “seize the day” message (Remember Me’s tagline: “Live in the Moments”), which heckles you with all the other things you should or could be doing while you’re marking time waiting on the credits.-Village Voice

The film is a much needed change to all the CGI and car crashes, killing, and sex crimes. It was so nice to see a story about people. There was real dialogue. I think Pattinson did himself proud to produce a movie that could possibly seem unpopular with the teen crowd. Our society only wants to see blood and guts. They never touch on the human aspect of real people anymore like the memorable black and whites. “Now Voyager”, “The Women”, “The Enchanted Cottage”, “Rebecca”, “Wuthering Heights”. Come on people, everything is not about guns, sex and supernatural. I commend Pattinson for taking a chance and not allowing himself to be pigeon holed into the tween movie craze. He is getting older and although he is not the action figure kind of guy, it shows a movie with connectivity to the real world. Over all, I think it did what is was suppose to do. Give us all pause when thinking about how are lives interact with others. I give the movie a B, not bad at all. Although I loved the “Twilight Saga” movies and books and being a grandmother, I say, way to go Rob. I think he will be around for a long time.
Very poorly written!!!!!!!!!! The acting was great to give them their due, but it was a very boring boring, boring story. Robert pattinson deserved better material than he was given. This has nothing to do with Robert cause all he has to do is show up. I am only rating the movie & not the acting! This was terribly directed & produced. What a shame to have looked forward to this movie for so long only to be terribly disappointed. If everybody would be perfectly honest this is their feeling also.
