Director John Singleton has some upcoming film projects such as the upcoming Lionsgate film titled Abduction. The plot line revolves around a young man who sets out to uncover the truth about his life after finding his baby photo on a missing persons website. The cast so far includes Taylor Lautner, Alfred Molina, Denzel Whitaker, Jason Isaacs, Maria Bello, Lily Collins and Sigourney Weaver. No release date has yet been confirmed.

Also back in 2006, there was talk of Vin Diesel and John Singleton doing the film titled Wheelman, based off the UBIsoft’s  video game Wheelman but it was put on hold.

But recently, just about a month ago, on Vin Diesel’s Facebook, Vin Diesel addressed about possibly doing the film.

“One of the better scripts I have read this year,” Diesel said. “We are pretty swamped at the moment as you know, but it is a good script none the less, and something that could happen in the future.”

Hopefully, it gets done, because I personally like to see them work together on this film project.
