According to The Hollywood Reporter, Darren Aronofsky is stepping down from directing Fox’s sequel “The Wolverine.” I for one don’t care who directs the next Wolverine movie, if it’s starring Hugh Jackman, and the scripts good I’m in the theaters with my popcorn.

“As I talked more about the film with my collaborators at Fox, it became clear that the production of The Wolverine would keep me out of the country for almost a year,” Aronofsky said

So Kevin Costner is going to star in the upcoming “Superman” movie. Reuters is reporting that Costner will play Jonathan Kent, the hero’s adoptive father.

Other actors named are Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel and Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Superman’s adopted Earth mother.
