Performance: If you know about the brand Hercules then you know that they specialize in excellent DJ equipment. So when they launched their new line of headphones I simply got excited and wanted to review them.

I’ll begin with the design of these headphones. Its appearance is stylish and quite easy on the eyes. The material that the headphones are made of felt relativity solid but not overly expressive nor does it have any metal parts, it’s basically made from sturdy plastic.

Its cushion padding for the headband is nicely made out of foam with the Hercules logo embedded. The headband will feel comfortable on a user’s head. Also, the ear-cups have a cushioned, which gives comfort to the user’s ears of any size. Also what I like about the earcups is that they can fold flat making it an ease for storage capacity. There is also a detachable cable on either the left or right ear cups and a drawstring carry porch.

The sound quality for the Hercules’ DJ-Pro M1001 Headphones is well balanced with mid/high frequencies. It has  a solid smooth vocal feedback on bass and it won’t feel bouncy on your earcups from the vibrations of the sounds.

Includes a nice carrying porch to put away your headphones.

These headphones are comfortable for long listening, they don’t press on the user’s head, thanks to the ear pads’ width and softness, forming a barrier around the ears. I went at least three hours listening to music which ranged from rock to hip hop music. The drums and bass on several songs didn’t hinder its performance, it had a good response on either earcups.

DJs are more into the sounds when they’re doing their scratching, therefore as far as the  noise-canceling, which some of us like to zone out and not hear the outside world, these headphones did its job. Some of that might be contributed to me loving to listen to my music at a high volume, so my friends and family members didn’t appreciate me ignoring them. :)

In closing, if you’re looking to buy some sleek looking DJ headphones with solid sound quality, then you can’t go wrong in getting these headphones whether you’re a beginner or professional DJ, they’re more than adequate to rock out a nightclub.
