Destiny 2 Forsaken Review: Step In The Right Direction

Forsaken has everything that Destiny 2 should have had at launch. The lead up to the forsaken release was that Cayde-6 dies, as seen in the teaser trailer, which shows him getting shot. So, going in we know a huge character is going to die, we just have to play and find out how and why.

The story itself was what I’ve come to expect from destiny, starts off good then ends abruptly. The ending will leave many questions unanswered. But, the story was one of the most exciting, that I’ve played from destiny. The length of 7 to 8 hours was adequate.

Our character needs to talk more, its more engaging. I’m tired of having a conference call in every mission. I loved the bow, it’s a nice addition to the game. I spent a lot of time using it, just cause it’s new and fun.

Overall, This should have been how Destiny 2 launched, it’s sad that it took this long to get the ball rolling, new weapons, new menu system, a overhaul to almost everything that would have made Destiny 2 standout from Destiny 1.
